Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
1. Introduction
CalcHub Pro ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process when you use our website, how we use it, and the third-party services we rely on.
2. Data we collect
We do not require account creation and we do not sell your data. We process the following:
- Local storage: preferences, recent calculations, and theme settings stored only in your browser.
- Inputs to tools: values you enter (e.g. amounts to convert, IP addresses, domains, GitHub usernames) are sent to the relevant third-party APIs to return results.
- Server logs: standard request metadata (IP, user agent, timestamp) may be logged for security and abuse prevention.
3. Third-party APIs
Some tools call external services to fetch live data. Your input and IP may be visible to these providers:
- open.er-api.com — live currency exchange rates (Currency Converter).
- CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com) — cryptocurrency prices.
- Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com) — weather forecasts.
- ipapi.co — IP geolocation lookup.
- Google Public DNS (dns.google) — DNS record lookup.
- GitHub REST API (api.github.com) — public repository and user statistics.
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you are concerned about how they handle requests.
4. Cookies & tracking
CalcHub Pro does not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. We may use a minimal first-party cookie or local storage entry to remember your theme and preferences.
5. Children's privacy
Our service is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Your rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser storage. If you have questions about your data, contact us at hello@calchubpro.app.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
